You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience Requirement:
One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade 11:
Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting in the preparation of functional resource and fiscal plans to ensure compliance with natural resource planning policies and regulations. Assisting in the review and evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of land management programs and made recommendations for improvement. Participating in the short-range resource planning, program direction, coordination, and evaluation of the natural resource programs and their related activities. One year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade 12:
Specialized experience is defined as experience providing leadership and/or guidance in the management of natural resource-related programs involving stewardship, river and wilderness resources; implementing and executing project plans for a natural resources program area which included projects related to stewardship, wilderness, and wild and scenic river programs; coordinating assigned programs and plans with other resource management functions; providing recommendations on development and execution of natural resource programs related to stewardship, river and wilderness resources to ensure their accomplishment within applicable guidelines; preparing and/or assessing short-range and long-range functional resource and fiscal plans to ensure compliance with natural resource policies and regulations. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
