Assistant Supervisor will be responsible for consistently meeting minimum standards and passes the Station Observation Checklist for assigned position(s). At times may be only Supervisor in Charge of entire facility. Responsible for assuring a high level of customer and donor service. Assists with supervision of retail and/or production activities to ensure that goals are met in production and sales. Assure Easter Seals-Goodwill policies and procedures are uniformly adhered. Cross training required in all aspects of Goodwill. Performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW NRM.
Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations and established Best Practices for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment
Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean environment
Demonstrate apporpriate concern for, and participate in training and learning opportunities as they relate to financial control and asset protection
Assist in safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the safe use of equipment

Required Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in retail and supervision desirable
Sensitive to customer needs and wishes
Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or other special needs preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job
Able to lift and carry 20-100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance
Able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods
Able to go up and down steps
Tolerance of extreme changes in temperature and humidity
Must be able to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends or longer shifts if needed.
May be required to work more than 40 hours per week
